The GBDGA Members start their journey to the heart of the season with its first                                                 Major. The game within the game starts here, fighting for the chance to chase the                                             Triple Crown. The Weather was no match for he King of Legion and Zach once again                                           walked away the The Winter Championship Champion. If that is any indicator, the                                             competition doesn't seem to be slowing down. Look for the Players Cup at the                                                   challenging Lake Leota Park to once again shake up the standings. With Zach not                                               signed up for this Major, who will have their chance at chasing the elusive Triple                                             Crown and become this years second trophy winner? How long is the fall to the  bottom? As Always Drinking and Trash talking are strongly encourage, but remember a lot is on the line.

Lake Leota Park is a fun course. You’ll be tested and tempted on many holes, so come prepared with all the shots in your arsenal and a maybe even a few tricks up your sleeves.

For each hole there is a long and short teepad and a long and short pin. Blues are long and yellows are short. There are only 9 holes on this course, so we’ll be rotating pads and pins throughout the tourney. The first 18 will be played from the long(blue) tees, playing the first 9 to the short pins, then the second 9 to the long. Guess what we are playing for the second 18? short tees! First round of 9 to the long pins, second round to the short.

There is some slight elevation change, but not too much. A few holes are lightly wooded. There are a few holes (4) that play along or over water. So bring your floaties and a few backups. Hole 9 is an island green, so we might see some discs get wet. Are you going to risk it for the deuce?

No Permit this year, we like to live dangerously. Be sure to pack a mug or something inconspicuous to drink out of so the fuzz doesn't get called.
