Picture this… It’s a gorgeous midwest day, highs of 77, lows of 35, winds ranging from absolutely still to 27 MPH gusts. You’ve got your discs in your car, a case of cool Busch Lite Tall Boys in the passenger seat next to you. You’re blasting Jason Aldeen while you cruise down HWY 41 to Gringon Park. You’re trying to decide if it’s weather appropriate to have your windows down or up, it’s a tough decision. In the end you decide to keep them down, that way you can smell the fresh scent of paper mill and manure, AHHH, Wisconsin.

As you’re blasting down 41 getting lost to the sound of your ‘02 Subaru WRX boxer engine. You’re daydreaming, fantasizing about seeing yourself on the first teebox. You can visualize the absolute smash you throw, getting all of 260ft of distance. You know you can park the 40ft upshot with ease, just put a little hyzer on it and let it fall towards the basket! Oof, just short. You get into your putting stance, looking to clean up the 3.. But you hit chains left side and splash out, missing the 13 footer. It’s all good, though. You clean up 4, crack a Tall Boy and move on. Back to reality….You pull into the parking lot and see 11 of your closest friends there waiting for you (they’re all driving Subarus, too. Not as cool as yours. Definitely no hoodscoop). It’s May 18th, and it’s the Subaru Open. You’re ready to get after it with your pals and have a grand ole time. Remember to leave some gas in the tank for the distance competition at the end!

Grigon Park is a landscaped course through the woods with alt. tees/pin placements, elevation changes, 5'x10' concrete tees and wood chipped fairways. The set up (signs, benches and trash cans, soda machine, etc.) helps Grignon provide a fun round.
