Just when you thought it was all over, the GBDGA Commissioners are at it again. This time the GBDGA will be split into two teams to compete in a 1v1 team match play tournament.
No points on the line, only bragging rights to hoist and drink out of DASSSS BOOOOTTTTT!!!!!!!!! Teams will be set based on GBDGA Overall Rankings and match ups will be determined by the team captains (1st and 2nd Overall). This tournament is the final time of 2016 for the GBDGA members to lay it all on the line. Will we see Putts sank from SHURTTTYYY METERS?!?! Who knows what a ZJ is? Have and good tournament and Let's get sour on some Krauts!

****It has been brought to the attention of the Commissioners that rule changes have been requested. It is in this tournament that we will try out these new rules changes. Please see the following:

-Shotgun Start will still be held, missing the shotgun start will result in a 1 stroke penalty.

-No longer will there be a 1 beer minimum per 9.

-No longer will players have to have your beer finished per the end of a 9 hole stretch

- Players MUST have an open beer at all times, failure to do so will result in a 1 stroke penalty.

-Intermission will only last up to 10 minutes.

-Players are not required to have an intermission beer.

-Players electing to use their Beer Chug Mulligan will have 1 minute to finish, failure to do so results in a 1 stroke penalty every 1 minute they are past.

-Player groups will be split into multiple play cards of 3-4 players, depending on participation rates and tournament structure.

-Hole-in-ones result in a play card beer chug, as this is celebratory, players will have 3 minutes to drink their beverage. Players must use a new beer for this activity.

Located in Wiese Park in De Pere, WI, Dier Straits is a wooded course in 3 sections along the east river trail - finishes with an open throw of 450'+. Bring the map to navigate. Can be busy some nights during soccer season.

From Highway 43; Exit onto 172W towards Austin Straubel Airport. Exit to Moneoe Rd/ GV going south towards the Kwik Trip. At the light take a right on Hoffman Rd., then a left on East River Dr., then a left on Lebrun Rd. into park.
